Lets look at something we all can relate to, diet and exercise. We start with a goal in mind, for example, to lose eight pounds. Lets say, weve decided to workout five days a week for one month and we are starting next Monday. This is a great example of a way to set a beginning and end date of a goal. A great way to keep track of this is to have a goal setting worksheet filled out in advance, gyms and all types of diets offer these worksheets. Where we can write down our goal, track our progress, and set an end date with a particular result in mind. Yet, for most of us, when it comes to an online business, we expect to get started and get immediate results, and then get discouraged when we dont. Do you know the feeling? All changes may not be negative. It is possible that job changes or promotions could mean an unanticipated increase in salary. This would have a huge and positive impact on your retirement plan. But a worksheet cannot predict such a change.
Because here is the catch: next time you hear yourself saying "I wish I had more money" ask yourself what are you doing about it. Most people do not have an answer to that question, so they spend their time wishing. Over and over, the statement is said with no action.
